It's Nice To Meet You.

Now that we have found each other, let's get to know each other.

Let's meet in a neutral location, sit back, have some coffee, and talk about your wedding.

You start.

Tell me what kind of a wedding you are planning. Is it religious or non-religious? Is it big or small? Will there be a few close friends, or lots of people? Will you write your own vows? Do you have any readings you would like in the ceremony?

After that, let's talk about the vows. I have some prepared words which talk about marriage and commitment and friendship. They talk about being partners in the simple things, as well as the grand adventures. For some couples, they are perfect as is. For other couples, it's a good start. Let's make it the way you want it to be.

After our initial meeting, I'll send out the first draft of the vows. You can let me know if we are on the right track, or if we need to make changes. As we collaborate to make changes and the vows take shape, we will continue to keep in touch with each other until your wedding day.

When your wedding day comes, I will arrive shortly before the service to receive the wedding license and to coordinate any last minute details. When the big moment comes, and we are standing in front of your friends and family, your vows will be presented in a relaxed and professional manner as you enjoy the moment, and each other, looking forward to your life together.

Following the ceremony, I will have the witnesses sign the marriage license, and I will file it with the county.

Enjoy your wedding!
